Nestled amongst the grounds of UBC in Vancouver, Cecil Green Park House is the ideal venue for those wanting timeless elegance combined with natural beauty. With its old world charm and sprawling gardens, this venue is the perfect backdrop for a wedding that’s both intimate and gorgeous. For Alex and Deyan, their vision was simple: a celebration of love surrounded by the people who mattered most. They wanted an atmosphere that was as relaxed as it was beautiful, where their guests could enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed or stuffy. They wanted a place that felt like it could tell their story – something romantic but not overly traditional and Cecil Green Park House fit their vision perfectly.

Choosing to have their ceremony later in the day provided the most gorgeous golden light that filtered through the trees oh so beautifully. There were tears, there was laughter, and above all there was a genuine joy and love that filled the air.

Dinner was served al fresco on the terrace, with long wooden tables adorned with simple greenery and candlelight. The evening was full with laughter, music, and dancing.

There’s really no other way to describe this day other than perfect, and I know it’s so cliché but it’s so true. Over the years of photographing many weddings I truly believe that each day really IS perfect, because it’s perfect for every couple in their own unique way and honestly, Alex and Deyan’s gorgeous and exuberant wedding at Cecil Green, was perfect.
